Representative Season Wrap‑Up
The 2025/26 ISA Boys Touch Football Representative season was highlighted by outstanding performances, strong sportsmanship and significant representative success, with both ISA teams making their mark at the NSWCIS Championships.
Following trials held at Macquarie University Sporting Fields, 53 students from across ISA member schools competed for selection in the 15 Years & Under and 18 Years & Under representative teams. The trial process provided players with the opportunity to showcase their skills through drills, game-based activities and positional play, ensuring a highly competitive and rewarding selection experience.
NSWCIS Championships
The ISA 18 Years & Under team produced a dominant championship campaign, going undefeated to claim the title of NSWCIS Champions. The team opened the tournament with a 5-2 victory over GPS before recording impressive wins against CSSA (12-1), NCIS (9-2), AICES (4-2) and CAS (8-4). Their consistent performances, attacking flair and teamwork saw them finish the championships as deserving champions.
The 15 Years & Under team also enjoyed an excellent tournament, finishing as NSWCIS Runners-Up. The team delivered commanding wins against CSSA (8-0), NCIS/RAS (13-0) and AICES (3-2), while also earning a hard-fought draw against CAS (3-3). Despite a narrow loss to GPS, the team demonstrated resilience and skill throughout the competition to secure second place overall.
Further Representation
The success of the ISA program was further reflected in representative selections, with eleven players earning places in NSWCIS teams. Kobe B, Hayden C, Jasper Pand Lachlan D were selected in the NSWCIS 15 Years & Under Team, while Lucas B, Logan B, James F, Jack K, Jake M, Callum S and Hunter J gained selection in the NSWCIS 18 Years & Under Team.
The season’s achievements were built on the dedication of coaches, managers, selectors and officials who contributed their time and expertise throughout the representative program. Special thanks go to coaches Mr. Willie Bishop and Mr. Josh Turner, managers Mrs. Corrine Phillips and Mr. Grant Levy, as well as the many staff and referees who helped ensure a successful season.
Congratulations to all players selected to represent ISA in 2025/26. Their performances on and off the field reflected the values of the Association and contributed to another highly successful representative Touch Football season. Congratulations also to convenor Mr. Tim Donlan for his leadership and commitment throughout the campaign.
