Honouring Dedication: 2025 ISA Staff Awards & End-of-Year Celebration

The Independent Sporting Association (ISA) held the 2025 edition of the Annual Dinner and Awards Evening at the beautiful Coral Restaurant, with Central Coast Grammar School proudly serving as host. The event acknowledged individuals whose professional commitment and service play a vital role in the ongoing success of ISA sport.

Service Award: Cameron Ellis

Mr. Cameron Ellis (Redlands) was recognised with the ISA Service Award for outstanding contributions to ISA representative sport programs. His involvement spans managing, and convening across multiple sports, including Touch Football, Netball, and Rugby.

From leading representative pathways to supporting school teams and serving as Redlands’ Head of Sport, Cameron’s commitment has significantly enriched the ISA community and exemplifies the dedication this award celebrates.

Peter Cornish Award: Peter Reeves

Mr. Peter Reeves of Chevalier College was honoured with the prestigious Peter Cornish Award for his exceptional and longstanding contribution to the development of school sport within the ISA and beyond.

Across his years of involvement, Peter has coached and managed ISA and NSWSRU representative rugby teams, as well as contributing to representative basketball. His leadership, expertise, and commitment have expanded opportunities for student athletes at school, association, and state levels.

Peter’s influence and dedication embody the spirit of the Peter Cornish Award and continue to leave a lasting impact on the ISA sporting community.

The award was accepted by Chevalier College Head of School Mr. Greg Miller (right) on Peter’s behalf, presented by Mr Jonathan Byrne (left), St Augustine’s College Head of School and ISA Chairman .
