Celebrating Excellence: 2024 ISA Awards Evening Honours Staff Achievements
The Independent Sporting Association (ISA) hosted its 2024 Annual Dinner and Awards Evening at the stunning Mayfield Gardens in Oberon, with Scots All Saints College proudly acting as host. The evening celebrated outstanding contributions to ISA sport, recognising individuals whose dedication has profoundly shaped the association’s success.
ISA Service Award: Jonathan Harvey
Jonathan Harvey of St Augustine’s College was honoured with the ISA Service Award for over 10 years of dedicated service. From coaching basketball and rugby to serving as Head of Sport and ISA Rugby Convenor, Jonathan’s unwavering commitment has significantly impacted the ISA sporting community.
Peter Cornish Award: Greg Gower
Greg Gower of St Andrew’s Cathedral School received the Peter Cornish Award for three decades of exemplary service. A champion of basketball and tennis, Greg’s leadership has created opportunities for young athletes to excel at all levels.
ISA Life Membership: Paul Geddes and Matt Stearn
Paul Geddes of Central Coast Grammar School was recognised as ISA Life Member #17 for nearly 30 years of service, including 24 years as Rugby Convenor. Paul’s contributions to rugby and school sports leadership have left a lasting legacy.
Joining this distinguished group as ISA Life Member #18 is Matt Stearn of St Pius X College. Matt’s commitment over decades to cricket, rugby, and ISA carnivals, coupled with his efforts to inspire student participation, exemplifies the spirit of ISA excellence.
