The ISA Athletics team made a strong impact at the NSWCIS Athletics Championships, held on Tuesday 24 September at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre.
This year, ISA was represented by 239 students from 17 member schools, with 458 event entries across track and field. While slightly down on numbers from 2024, the team’s depth and quality were clear to see, with athletes showing determination, skill, and school pride throughout the day.
The Championships were a chance for ISA athletes to compete at the highest level of school sport, and they rose to the occasion. There were many standout performances, with several ISA competitors claiming first place in their events.
Adding to the excitement, ISA athletes also set three new NSWCIS records, underlining the exceptional standard of competition on the day. These achievements highlight both the talent of individual athletes and the strength of the wider ISA program.
The ISA community congratulates all students who competed and thanks the staff, coaches, and families who continue to support school sport. The performances at this year’s Championships are a reflection of the hard work and commitment of everyone involved in athletics across ISA schools.
